There really is no better feeling than the one you get when you have just booked your next holiday! If you are anything like us then you like to remind yourself on a daily basis of how long it is until you travel, and of the exciting things you have planned.
To share in your delight we have developed a smartphone application which enables you to do just that! Take a look at our guide on how to download and use this fantastic app.
DOWNLOADING THE APP
All of your holiday documentation will be uploaded to our travel app. Your itinerary is uploaded at the time you confirm your booking and we will add additional documentation as we receive this from our suppliers. You can download the apps here: IPHONES and ANDROID.
HOW DO I LOG IN?
The log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email. If you haven’t received this or are struggling to login please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will help you through the log in process.
WHAT CAN I USE THE APP FOR?
The App has multiple uses. You can use it to check the weather, keep an eye on your itinerary, share content on social media and to keep a log of your travel memories. The home page provides you with a countdown to your trip … just to make sure that you can look forward to it every day!
Share your travel plans with friends on social media by clicking the box in the top right hand corner (circled in green below)!
Summary – the summary tab provides you with a day-to-day breakdown of your itinerary. Simply click on the ‘summary’ tab and swipe across to see different days.
Travel Documents – Your trip notes and full itinerary will be attached to this section. We will routinely update these and you will receive a notification that new documents have been uploaded. In order to receive these notifications please click ‘yes’ to receive information from us during the initial set up process.
Places of Interest – Here you can keep detailed notes and upload photos during your trip. Simply click on the tab, jot down where you are and what you are thinking, then upload any relevant photos from your phone. You can even share your notes on social media by clicking on the 3 orange dots at the top right hand corner of your entry once it has saved.
Maps – Your main itinerary points will be pre-loaded onto this section so that you can map your travels. We recommend using the ‘online maps’ option if you have access to WIFI. Downloading maps for offline use will take some time to update so if you would like to use this element we recommend that you do this prior to departure from the UK.
Click on the ‘Explore’ text in the top right hand corner of the screen to provide further options on what is available locally. You can then select which type of sites you are interested in (then click ‘close’) and zoom in to the markers to find out more information. Click on the ‘I’ icon to find out more about that location! Then WOW your fellow travellers with your knowledge.
